Many thanks for the overwhelming response to our Chokhi Dhani trip. It was a great get together with all round participation from members.

As desired by several members, we are pleased to announce the photography workshop Sri. Mahalingam Swaminathan (Sama) this weekend – Saturday, 18 February, from 10:00 am to 01:00 pm.

The venue will be Alumni Club, Guindy.

The 3-hour introductory workshop – ‘From Basics to Creating Photographs with Impact’ will broadly cover the following:
– Basics of Photography (using camera, lens, basic settings, etc.)
– Importance of Light and Compostion
– Presentation of photos and an analysis
– Q&A

Snacks and lunch will be provided for all the participants.

We would like a minimum of 20 and maximum of 30 participants. Preferably 12 years and above.

We suggest a nominal fee of Rs. 250/ per participant to cover the hall rent/incidentals, projector, coffee/snacks, lunch, etc.

Please indicate your willingness to participate in this workshop. Those who have already given your confirmation, do take a minute to reconfirm now for planning purposes.

As mentioned above, we need a minimum of 20 confirmations to go ahead with the arrangements.

Also, request each of you to encourage your family members to take part in this workshop. We have about 15 confirmations so far. We need a minimum of 5 more to make it a reasonable batch size.
