High level plan of the village visit:
20th May 2017 pick up people from Kuttalam station for breakfast at Tirukodikaval. After breakfast at around 8:30 am start for a small temple visit. Intend covering tirukodikaval, thiruloki, kathiramangalam and Suryanaarkoil.
Back by 11/12 for lunch. Start from Tkvl at around 2:30/3 pm and visit Vishnupuram vocational training centre, Thediyur and Konerirajapuram. Dinner at Koneri and after dinner off to Kumbakonam for stay at 20A, yagasalai st, kumbakonam. Those who wish to stay in any of their relatives place may do so, however transportation from the above address to be arranged by themselves.
21st May after breakfast at the above venue at 8 am visit Sengalipuram for a small gathering at any of our residents house. Spend an hour or so and and then visit Semmangudi Mariamman temple, an old church and a Jain temple!! Later halt for lunch at Arasavanangadu and visit Vruksha! Thiruvaarur temple visit in the evening is optional depending on the energy levels of the members!
Main objective is to chit chat in the thinnais, socialise and connect with the villages! We are excited to connect with the residents in each of the villages and hoping to see you all soon!
