Namaskaram. As most of us may know already, our village Semmangudi is not only renowned but also ancient and legendary. The Shiva Lingam in our temple is installed and worshipped by none other than Sage Agasthya, one of the Saptarishis and hence the Deity is named after Him as Sri Agastheeswarar.
