Warm greetings.
As you know, our Maadhyama Dharma Samajam (MDS) has been contributing to a few causes since its inception more three decades ago.
Educational Scholarships – Rs. 25 Lakh
George Vocational Centre, Vishnupuram – Rs. 6 to 8 Lakh
Veda Patasalas – Rs. 2.5 to 3 Lakh
Cash Prize for village school toppers – Rs. 2 Lakh
Temple Kumbhabhishekams – Rs. 1 Lakh
Over 600 candidates have been trained in the vocational centre, several have found jobs, some have become entrepreneurs. A significant % of them are women from modest families.
Over 1000 students have benefited from the educational scholarships and cash awards. Most of them from disadvantaged families across castes and religions.
We will soon be inaugurating our second Vocational Centre in Semmangudi in collaboration with Unnati, Bangalore.
All of this is possible thanks to the monetary and other contributions made by our members in India and abroad.
Of course, we could do a lot more. Our community today is spread across the globe. We have professionals, academicians, business owners and entrepreneurs with notable accomplishments and financial muscle.
However, only a very small fraction are members in the Samajam. The same goes with this group too!
There’s so much more we could do for each of the above causes. As some members have pointed out here, there’s so much that we could do for our villages.
Obviously, this calls for a collective effort from all of us.

More than the causes, this is an organization that binds us to our roots. To our shared ancestry in a few villages a few decades ago to all parts of the globe now!
